This was the third visit by Precision Door service over more than decade for our double garage overhead door the first was noisy rollers, replaced with high quality steel rollers (no more squeaks) the second was replacing the door bottom door bumper/seal (no more leaks), the last was replacing and upgrading the broken springs. The tech was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, and explained all the issues and repair. He was very quick in assessment and the actual repair, explaining each element of the problems and offering choices for the optimum result. Bottom Line, we won't call anyone else and don't expect to see him any time soon,

The first thing that impressed me was the person I talked with yesterday; she was clear and honest in answering all my questions, and set up an appointment for me today. The technician/installer (Mitchell) arrived about two hours early, which was impressive as well. He diagnosed the problem as a failed controller board, and was able to find a replacement via his tablet. As the cost of the board was 60% of that of replacing the entire assembly, I opted for the latter; it was an unexpected expense, but with an opener that was more than 23 years old, the first failure is a sign that other failures may happen sooner than later. And the warranties (lifetime on important things and one year at no additional cost on the rest) sort of made the deal for me. This was a good experience which I will be happy to tell others about.
