Had a coil go out yesterday (holiday). Called them 8:30 this morning, they were here within the hour. Door repaired very quickly, but be prepared for just a touch of sticker shock. Installing and adjusting new springs is NOT something someone with no experience should attempt.

One of my torsion springs broke on a heavy two car insulated door. With apprehension I called Precision with no prior experience around 4:30 PM wondering how long I would have to park outside in the freezing weather. The responder surprised me by saying their earliest opportunity to help would be between 6-8 PM. "Today" I asked incredulously? Yes, so I signed on immediately. The repair tech came out by 6, surveyed the damage, suggested since they were old springs, that the second was likely to fail before long, and said my door rollers were corroded placing stress on the opener and he recommended replacing them for a modest amount. He had another pricier option which I thought was not necessary and he promptly got to work. Within an hour he was done and gone, and my door worked perfectly, and much quieter due to the new rollers. My wife and I both noticed the significantly quieter operation and we are greatly pleased with the business-like choices given for repair, the immediate acceptance of our choice, and the efficient and accurate repair of our door. I have to say as a long time homeowner that used to do all maintenance myself, that this experience was a major pleasure. I read many other reviews and they seem to be equally positive, so I think this company has established a responsible and trustworthy reputation that will please prospective customers.

Our appointment was for 4:00 - 6:00pm and the installer arrived about 4:30. He told me what my options were on repairing my old opener which was very outdated. The old openers were installed in 1993. We purchased two LiftMaster door openers. He was able to install them that evening without me having to make another appointment at a later date for installation. They were quick and professional. I would recommend Precision Door Service to anyone that was needing garage door service.

I called to inquire about replacing the bottom seal on my door. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next morning (8-10). I received a call from Mitchell a little before 8 saying he would be there in 15 minutes. Mitchell performed a quick inspection of my door and mentioned replacing the door - he answered all my questions as to why. He was informative and I was glad to have the information. In the end I just went with the repairs I wanted. The work was done quickly (even with me talking with him while he was working) and I was leaving my house by 9am. Having a website with a picture of the technicians is a big plus. I knew who to expect when the technician arrived. All around a very good experience.

Great service. My house is 13 years old and I am not the original owner. The garage door would not open or opened partially. I thought it was the lift motor. Jonathon told me we needed a second coil spring and that the motor was old but still functioning. He fixed the garage door in 30 minutes, lubricated the track, and reprogrammed the external garage door openers. This is a first class company. No hassles, no hard sell. Well done. I recommend this company and will use them again.

An advance phone call from TJ, who arrived promptly and went through a clear explanation of what was being provided, without the usual "upselling" you might receive from a vendor, once they get a "foot in the door". Mitchell, an additional Tech was in the area and came to assist in the installation of the 2 Door openers. Clean up and complete satisfaction were what I was left with. this visit was for a tune up, the result of a coupon in the mail. the technician was competent and efficient. i feel the cost was worth the peace of mind i get from this tune up. i got the invoice a little later in my email. i really dont need a six page invoice for a lube and roller replacement. however, in reading the inspection checklist, i see that my end plates are worn and failed. that was never mentioned during the visit.
