The spring broke on one of our garage doors and I could not open the door. I was at a very inopportune time. I was planning to leave within a few hours to deliver Christmas gifts to South Alabama since our daughter and grandson were planning to Huntsville for Christmas; however, our daughter just found out that she tested positive for COVID-19 this morning. I called Precision Door Service around 10:30 and found that they could schedule an appointment for between 12:00 and 2:00. The service technician, Mitchell, arrived a little after 12:00. He explained my repair options and provided the price for each option. I made my selection and he went to work. I did not time him, but I would guess he completed all repairs within 45 minutes. He was very professional and courteous in all of our interactions. I would highly recommend Precision Door Service to my friends and neighbors.

I needed to have the bottom weather stripping gasket replaced on my garage door and my opener was making a clicking sound and wouldn't function. I had a repair done today and the garage worked well enough to park my vehicle back into it. Went back out to leave and there is no power to the switch. The technician was very friendly, but to pay over $200 for a repair that literally only worked well enough for me to pull my car in & let the garage back down is beyond frustrating!! I called back & another appointment isn't available until Monday. Not only that, but the agent was unable to confirm if the work would be guaranteed. The power is now loss to the switch and I can't help but to wonder if there is something loose now as this was not an issue before the repair and if there was anything else going on with it, I'd think for sure that a professional should have been able to properly diagnose any issues so that I would have had an opportunity to make a fully conscious decision as to whether investing in today's repair. I will give this a 1 because the technician was very friendly, but I need quality work that is done correctly the first time.
