Had a major failure of my garage door on Tuesday evening. Jason from Precision Garage Door Service was there at 8:30 on Wednesday morning. He quickly evaluated the situation, developed a plan, explained it to me and performed the plan. He then recommended some maintenance items that may have led to the problem and gave me different solutions and prices. I decided on the ones to do and Jason proceeded to do the work. By 10:30 the door was fully functional and better than it was prior to the failure.

Justin came at our request because the door was having sporadic issues with opening and closing. He explained what he thought was the problem based upon how it was acting and showed us our options which ran from just replacing the control board to replacing everything. We opted to replace the control board and also the capacitor (which he said may also be a part of the problem) and were quickly back to operating again.

I was very impressed with the individual that came. He called in advance and was within the time frame I was given. He even got on the cell phone with my son to explain the options. I am 84 years old and do not know anything about door repair. My son helped me decide. The individual was very patient on the phone with my son and explained 3 or 4 options and the price. I thought Precision had installed the door originally but he found a sticker that said Wilson. They had not done a good job. Thank you for sending such a nice person and fixing my door this morning. Your technician was knowledgeable and efficient, My only issue was your price. The bill was $502, but I had a coupon for $100 off. I paid $402 for your technician to replace three sets of bearings and set the tension on the torsion spring. Parts may have been $50, which means I paid $352 for less than one hour of his time. That said, he did a great job.
