Our appointment was for 4:00 - 6:00pm and the installer arrived about 4:30. He told me what my options were on repairing my old opener which was very outdated. The old openers were installed in 1993. We purchased two LiftMaster door openers. He was able to install them that evening without me having to make another appointment at a later date for installation. They were quick and professional. I called Precision Doors and requested an estimate to install 2 doors in my shop. They set the time for the technician to come out around my work schedule. The technician called and ask to come a little early and was very appreciative that I was able to accommodate. He was very knowledgeable of his trade and gave me a price that I thought was reasonable for the type of work that I requested, and a schedule that I could work with. At the time that I scheduled the installation, I was asked to pay half of the cost. Before I was able to get the doors installed, I had to cancel the order because of other issues beyond Precision Doors. The folks at Precision Door, tried to work a solution for the issue that I was having without success. Precision Door refunded my money within 24 hours without any question. I told them that I’ll have other work to be performed at a later date, and that they would be to first one I call. I would recommend these folks to anyone. They put a fair amount of effort to satisfy my problems, and in the end, they graciously gave me my money back without question. It’s great to see CUSTOMER SERVICE in action. The technician called ahead of time and showed up on time, was friendly and courteous, explained what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. The work was done quickly and efficiently. The technician explained the typical problems of a chain-driven system and provided an estimate for replacing it with a belt-drive system when the time comes. The technician asked me if I was satisfied with the repair (I was) before he asked for payment. He performed the repair, cleaned up his work area, and departed in less than 45 minutes. Chose Precision because of the web site and the information provided. I did notice on the web site it says there is no charge for Saturday or Sunday services but when I talked with a Precision rep on the phone there is a $90.00 charge for those days. Jonathan was right on time and did a fantastic job. He was very professional and explained everything he was doing and gave reasons why for items he recommended. The repair was done very quickly. I would recommend to anyone in need of garage door repairs.
